AINP Invites 148 Candidates through Alberta Express Entry (Canada Immigration Update)

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) issued 148 invitations to candidates for a provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry Stream with the minimum CRS score of 300.

Express Entry candidates have the opportunity to be invited to apply for a provincial nomination from Alberta, and other provinces, whoever is going to receive nomination will get additional 600 CRS points toward their overall score.

DUE TO COVID 19, only candidates within Alberta are being invited for an AINP nomination.

Candidates need to have work experience in an eligible occupation that supports the province’s economic development and diversification priorities. The AINP provides a list of ineligible occupations list on their website.

Criteria:

- currently working and residing in Alberta.
- have a work permit authorizing them to work in their current job;
- have a job that is full-time, paid, meet the provincial minimum wage, exceed Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) requirements; and
- they must work in an eligible occupation.
