What is BC Tech Category?

The BC PNP Tech Pilot is a fast-track immigration pathway which was introduced in 2017 for in-demand tech workers and INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. This pilot project will be until June 2021.

What are the requirements for the BC TECH Category?

You must be working in the below occupation in demand stream and having valid job offer for one year full time and at least 120 days remaining at the time of application:

305 invitations to candidates in all streams on August 20.

British Columbia held weekly Tech Pilot draws through which candidates with job offers in 29 eligible occupations are invited to apply for a provincial nomination.

72 invitations issued through the Tech Pilot draw for candidates in the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories in both the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams with a minimum score of 80.

Ontario invited 703 Express Entry candidates with work experience in targeted occupations today with CRS - Comprehensive Ranking System score between 466 - 475.
If candidates will receive nomination then they will be automatically be awarded an additional 600 points, and eventually, they will be qualifying under Express Entry with OINProgram.
