A) Direct Entry Stream

Basic Eligibility :
  • be nominated by an approved Australian employer for a job in regional Australia
  • be under 45 years of age
  • Stay permanently
  • have an occupation on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations
  • have an Australian employer nominating you to work in a position in regional Australia
  • depending on your occupation, demonstrate you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • depending on your occupation, have a skills assessment
  • agree to remain employed with your nominating employer in regional Australia for a minimum of 2 years

B) Temporary Residence Transition Stream

Cost : From AUD4,640.00

This visa allows skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer in regional Australia, live and work in Australia permanently.

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​You must be a transitional subclass 457 or subclass 482 worker
  • Usually, you must have worked for your employer full-time for at least 3 years
  • You must be nominated by your employer
  • Be a transitional subclass 457 or subclass 482 worker, see definition under eligibility “Have this visa”
  • hold a substantive visa or a Bridging visa A, B or C in association with a pending 482, 186 or 187 visa
  • usually, have worked for your employer in regional Australia for at least 3 years full time while holding a subclass 457 or TSS visa
  • have been nominated by an Australian employer whose nomination was approved in the 6 months prior to you applying
  • You must be licensed, registered or a member of a professional body if it is mandatory in the state or territory you intend to work in.
  • Usually, you must be under 45 years of age when you apply.
