In the short term, here’s how you can be prepared to help yourself:

• Encourage yourself to apply for upcoming intakes as soon as you can.
• If you are not exempt based on the subject or study level then wait for provinces to issue you an attestation letter.
• Be prepared with your visa documentation and be ready to apply as soon as there is more clarifying direction from IRCC.

To all students who are currently holding Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) if you are happy with your choice to consider submitting your study permit application as soon as possible, as the sector will face a lack of clear guidance in the coming weeks.
