Nova Scotia Experience - Express Entry

The Experience Express Entry stream of NSNP is mainly focussed on the highly skilled people who are willing to work and stay permanently in the Nova Scotia province. To become eligible, applicants are required to have a minimum work experience of 1-year working at a highly skilled job in the Nova Scotia province. This program is associated with the immigration system of the federal Express Entry program, which allows the successful applicants to apply and submit their application as well as receive their provincial nomination.

As the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry is associated with the federal Express Entry system, all the eligible applicants will receive a 600 point in their Express Entry profiles, which confirms them to receive an application invite to apply for Canadian PR.

Express Entry Requirement

To be eligible for the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry stream, an applicant must have been registered with an active Express Entry profile. Applicants who have qualified one of the three programs mentioned below; makes them eligible to apply and submit their application under this stream of NSNP.

  • Federal Skilled Trades
  • Federal Skilled Worker
  • Canadian Experience Class.
Connection to Nova Scotia

Applicant is required to have minimum work experience of 12 months working full-time or equal time working in a part-time job. Applicant must have been working in a valid job offered by an eligible employer in the Nova Scotia Province at the job skill level 0, A, or B as listed by NOC.

Language Proficiency

Applicants are required to appear for the language proficiency test in English or French, and submit their test scores along with their application. All the applicants having a job offer of Skill Level 0, A, or B framed by NOC are required to obtain a minimum of CLB level 7 in language proficiency test to become eligible to apply under this stream. All the applicants having a job offer of Skill Level B framed by NOC are required to obtain a minimum of CLB level 5 in language proficiency test to become eligible to apply under this stream.
