Manitoba’s first PNP draw in February invited 282 PR candidates.

This was a promising start for those hoping to call Manitoba home, demonstrating the province's dedication to drawing in skilled workers and foreign graduates.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) began its first draw on February 8th. There were a total of 282 invitations to apply for permanent residency.

The draw took into account profiles that included a close relative in Manitoba, highlighting the importance of family ties in the selection process.

2. International Education Stream:

  • Number of Invitations: 83

Invitations were sent to candidates who fulfilled the International Education Stream (IES) qualifying requirements, demonstrating Manitoba's dedication to keeping international graduates from approved universities.

3. Skilled Worker Overseas:

  • Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 48
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 713

This stream was made up of profiles that were especially invited under the MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative, highlighting the province's focused strategy to address particular skill shortages.

The latest Ontario Express Entry Draw issues 2,086 PR invitations for healthcare jobs.

Through its Express Entry Draw Human Capital Priorities stream, Ontario has held a new draw, inviting 2,086 candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores between 379 and 430 to apply for immigration to Canada in the healthcare industry.

This draw is open to OINP candidates with experience in any of the 42 healthcare occupations.

It is the first round of invites for the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) stream in 2024.

On February 6, 2024, IRCC issued targeted notifications of interest to potential candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.

379-430 and work experience in the following national occupational classification (NOC) codes.

7,000 French-speaking candidates received invitations from the first targeted express entry draw of 2024.

The IRCC performed a targeted draw for profiles with level 7 French proficiency and a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 365 or higher.

On February 1st, 7,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residency (PR) were issued in the first targeted Express Entry draw of 2024.

730 invitations for permanent residency were issued in the latest general express entry draw.

In the third Express Entry draw of the year, Canada issued 730 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the General category.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for the draw on January 31 was 541 points, which was 2 points less than the score for the previous all-program draw, which took place on January 23, 2024. In the previous IRCC draw, 1,040 ITAs were issued.

Since the first Express Entry draw in 2024, fewer invitations have been issued, and the cutoff score has been increasing.
