Under the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP), the federal government employs high school, CEGEP, college, and university students to work part-time while they are enrolled in classes.

More than 300 communities across the nation provide employment opportunities in a variety of fields, including administration, communications, enforcement, finance, Technology, and policy.

If hired, students could work at Canada's federal agencies' offices, laboratories, ships, farms, historical sites, national parks, and other areas.

You can obtain full- or part-time employment through the FSWEP, and the hourly wages for students range from $16 to $34.59.

For secondary school students, the hourly salary is $16, and for college students, it ranges from $16 to $21.24.

For university freshmen, salaries range from $16.99 to $25.52, for master's students from $22.71 to $28.57, and for doctoral students from $26.72 to $34.59.
