Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada is pleased to release details on the Government of Canada’s Immigration Levels Plan for 2020-2022. Canada will welcome 341,000 new permanent residents in 2020, 351,000 in 2021, and 361,000 in 2022.

Canada opened two new 5-year pilot programs for caregivers, this program is replacing the Caring for Children and Caring for People with High Medical Needs pilot programs.
Home Child Care Provider & Home Support Worker pilots programs opened for applications since June 18, 2019.
Eligibility criteria for receiving work permits.
Foreign caregivers need a valid job offer to work in Canada and meet the criteria of the immigration programs.
Total number of application 2,750 per pilot will be accepted, so total 5,500 applicants and their families can get benefit from this per year.
