In the second draw in eight days, Canada invites another 7,000 Express Entry candidates.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score for the March 23 all-program draw was 484, which was six points lower than the minimum score for the March 15 all-program draw.

The two drawings with 7,000 ITAs that took place in the last week are the biggest ever for all programmes, coming in second only to the one-time Covid-inspired draw in February 2021 that resulted in the issuance of 27,332 invitations to applicants for the Canada Experience Class.

In comparison to the first two draws, which each had 5,500 ITAs, this was Canada's fourth all-program Express Entry draw in 2023. Additionally, it has held three draws specifically for Provincial Nominee Program candidates and one draw for Federal Skilled Worker candidates.

After inviting 45,115 applicants throughout all of 2022, Canada has now issued 31,260 ITAs in 2023.
