Breaking News : Canada Announce Visa Free Travel to 13 countries.

Today, Sean Fraser, the minister of immigration, refugees, and citizenship, made a statement about visa-free travel while in Winnipeg.

13 nations' passport holders will now be able to fly to Canada without needing a visa for temporary residence. This only applies to visitors from these nations who have either recently held a Canadian visa or who now have a valid United States non-immigrant visa.

  • St Vincent and Grenadines

Canada’s Latest PNP draw of British Columbia and Manitoba.

Manitoba:

On June 1, 2023, the most recent MPNP draw (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) Invited 589 applicants for permanent residency (PR).

Of the 589 MPNP profiles that were invited, 214 had both a working Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code.

British Columbia:

On May 30, 2023, more than 191 invitations to apply for permanent residency were issued out in the most recent BC PNP draw of 2023.

In a general draw that took into account profiles for all of the jobs (including technical occupations) created with the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, 151 invitations were given out (PNP).

Also, 26 invitations were sent out specifically to candidates with expertise as assistants and early childhood educators.

In addition, 14 invitations were sent to people with profiles in 39 jobs relevant to healthcare.

Comparing the current targeted BC PNP general draw to the prior targeted draw, the cutoff score is unchanged across all categories.

This summer, IRCC will hold a new occupation-based Express Entry Draw, according to the minister of immigration Canada.

Sean Fraser, Canada's Minister of Immigration, has declared the beginning of category-based selection drawings for Express Entry applicants.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will pay special attention to Express Entry candidates who have employment experience in any of the following fields or who speak French fluently.

  • Healthcare
  • Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  • Trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
  • Transport
  • Agriculture and agri-food

According to the minister, enabling IRCC to send out more invitations to qualified individuals in these particular professions will help Canada meet its objective to attracting in-demand workers to all of its areas.

The most recent Express Entry draw from IRCC sent 4,800 invitations.

Candidates have been asked to participate in the 13th Express Entry draw of 2023 by IRCC.

In an all-program draw, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,800 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates.

Applicants needed at least a 488 on the Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS).

Since April 26, this was the first all-program draw. Candidates from all three of the Express Entry application management system's programs—the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or the Federal Skilled Trades Program—are taken into account when there is an all-program draw (FSTP).

This draw comes after the most recent one on May 10, in which 589 individuals who were eligible for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received invitations to apply (ITAs). Candidates are only taken into consideration if they are in the Express Entry pool and have also been nominated by a Canadian province in a PNP only draw..

Saskatchewan PNP Draw: The province sends out 1,044 targeted invitations for immigration to Canada.

In a recent Expression of Interest draw conducted by the Saskatchewan PNP draw, Immigrant Nominee Program(SINP), the province of Saskatchewan granted 1,044 invitations to immigrate to Canada.

260 invitations were issued through the province's Occupations In-Demand stream on May 18 while 784 were issued through its Fast Entry stream.

A minimum score of 67 was necessary for the invites, which were directed towards 31 National Occupational Classification codes.

The streams that are part of the draw are fully described below.
